Georgia Mother Of 7 Shot To Death In Chick-Fil-A Drive-Through By ‘Jealous Ex-Boyfriend’ In Alleged Murder-Suicide, Family Says

Two people died in an apparent murder-suicide at a Chick-fil-A drive-through in Georgia, and family members of the victim say it was the act of a ‘jealous ex-boyfriend,” officials said.
Around 7:00 a.m. on April 5, deputies were dispatched to a reported car accident with injuries near the fast-food restaurant in Rome, WRGA reported.
Before arriving on the scene, deputies learned the incident was a shooting and not an accident, officials said.
According to Rome Police, Anthony Wayne Green, 56, shot Cassie Lashae Davis, 39, while she was in her vehicle in the Chick-fil-A drive-through. Green then shot himself and both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Green and Davis were in a domestic relationship and Deputy Coroner Chris Giles said Davis was shot three times with a revolver, WRGA reported.
While the incident took place at a Chick-fil-A, police said the incident had nothing to do with Chick-fil-A and it just happened to occur on the restaurant's property.

Davis was a mother of seven children, ranging in age from 5 to 18. "She didn't have a mean bone in her body," the victim's mother, Kathie Walters, told WAGA. "She was everybody's friend."
Walters went on to claim Green would not leave her daughter alone and he was a jealous ex-boyfriend. “That's one thing she told me yesterday, that he was following her around,” she said.
