A Woman Was Found Shot Dead After Crashing Into Construction Site, Suspect Charged

A woman was found shot to death after crashing into a construction site, police said.
Now, the accused killer is behind bars.
On Oct. 7, police in Gwinnett County, Georgia, started to investigate after a report of a person shot.
When police arrived on Stone Mountain Highway, they found a woman outside of a wrecked vehicle. She appeared to be involved in a single-vehicle wreck at a construction site.
The woman had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
She was later identified as Breana Rogers.
A suspect fled the area and was later identified as Edward Smith. On Oct. 10, Smith turned himself in to police and faces charges of felony murder and aggravated assault. No motive has been released in the case.
