New Jersey Man Accused Of Killing His Girlfriend, Hiding Her Body In Trash Bag, Officials Say
A New Jersey man was apprehended in New York after he allegedly killed his girlfriend and then stuffed her body into a trash bag, authorities said.
On Nov. 7, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said Alton Eubanks, 48, of Trenton, was charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Corrine Daniels, MidJersey News reported.
According to the outlet, on Sept. 21, officers with the Trenton Police Department performed a wellbeing check on a residence forced their way into a home and found Daniels dead inside a trash bag in the basement.
The Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Officedetermined the victim died from multiple blunt force injuries and her death was ruled a homicide.
A motive in the murder has not been released.
Eubanks was arrested in in Middleburg, New York, on Oct. 12, and charged with his girlfriend’s slaying, officials said.
