Texas Man Found Nude, Wearing Plastic Belt After Allegedly Murdering His Grandmother: Sheriff
A Texas man was taken into custody in connection with the slaying of his grandmother, who died one day before her birthday, authorities said.
Around 2:30 a.m. on May 18, Onterrio Deshun Brooks, 37, allegedly killed his grandmother, Annette Seastrunk, 84, at her home in Browndell, and then he told a family member what he allegedly had done, KJAS reported.
The family member then phoned the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department and deputies responding to the elderly woman’s residence found her fatally stabbed to death, authorities said, noting she suffered multiple lacerations.
Deputies located the suspect hours after the attack and said he was nude except for a piece of plastic, which he had wrapped around his waist, according to KJAS.
Brooks faces a murder charge and was being held without bond.
