A 15-year-old Florida boy is accused of involvement in a drive-by shooting that claimed the lives of two victims, including a 6-year-old girl struck by stray bullets that pierced her home, according to authorities.

On Sept. 2, Nico Brown was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of Isaiyah Wright, 19, and Ajahliyah Hashim, whose mom was also injured in the shooting, according to the Orlando Police Department.

After Brown's arrest, the teenager flashed a smile as he was escorted on a perp walk in handcuffs to a squad car.

Around 8:20 p.m. on Aug. 29, the 6-year-old victim and her mother were in the living room of their home when gunshots rang out from a passing vehicle, police said.

Ajahliyah was transported to a nearby hospital, but she died from her injuries two days later, The New York Post reported.

According to the police, neither she nor her mother, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, were the intended targets in the shooting.

A neighbor who called 911 said she “heard the rapid gunfire,” The Post reported. Officials said there were several bullet markings at the victims’ home, along with dozens more outside.

Wright, who celebrated his 19th birthday on Aug. 23, was transported to the emergency room at Health Central Hospital in Ocoee. There, medical personnel pronounced him dead.

Police said they are unsure how he was possibly connected with the case.

She added, “I don’t know if he was set up. There’s a lot of things going through my head regarding my son.”
