Altercation Outside California Grocery Leaves Employee Dead, Suspects Arrested Weeks Later

Two people have been arrested in connection to the homicide of a grocery store employee in California, police said.
On Aug. 18, police in San Jose, California, announced the arrests of Tevita Tuakalau and Jacob Parrilla.
Around 3:30 a.m. on June 5, officers responded to the Hamilton Avenue Safeway for a report of a person shot.

When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound, according to police. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The unidentified victim was an employee of the Safeway, according to KRON 4. Police said the employee got into an altercation with the suspects before the shooting. Authorities did not specify who fired the fatal shot, or what the altercation was over.
The two suspects were arrested this week.
