Man Driving Hearse Adorned With Christmas Tree Accused Of Fatal Road Rage Shooting, Police Say
A road rage incident in Oklahoma City left one man dead and police searching for the driver of a hearse adorned with a Christmas wreath.
Around 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 25, police responded to the report of a shooting. At the scene, officers found a man suffering a single gunshot wound lying next to a red pickup parked in the middle of the intersection, KFOR reported.
“[Emergency Medical Services Authority] transported the victim to the hospital where he died later in surgery at the hospital,” Lt. Jeff Flaggert of the Oklahoma City Police said.
According to Flaggert, the victim was driving a red pickup truck at the time of the incident and the suspect, later identified as 25-year-old Kasey Caleb McConville, may have been behind the wheel of the hearse when he allegedly opened fire.
Police placed McConville under arrest later that evening and he was charged with first-degree murder.
He was being held at the Oklahoma County Detention Center without bond.
