A manager at a hotel in downtown Nashville has been arrested after he allegedly entered a guest’s room and was caught sucking on the guest’s toes, according to authorities.
Around 5 a.m. on March 30, David Neal, 52, allegedly made a key card and used it to enter a guest’s room, according to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. Neal was the night manager at downtown Nashville’s Hilton Hotel.
Police said the guest woke up and found Neal sucking on his toes. The guest confronted Neal and immediately recognized him as the person who had come into his room the day before with another employee to look into an issue he was having with his TV.
Officers said they were called to the hotel and they spoke with Neal, who admitted to entering the guest’s room. However, he claimed he smelled smoke and wanted to check on the alleged victim, according to police.
Neal didn’t report the smell of smoke to security, and there were no other reports about a smell of smoke in the hotel, an investigation determined.
Investigators said the room key was not recovered and Neal claimed he threw the key away.
