‘HOME IMPROVEMENT’ STAR ZACHERY TY BRYAN SENTENCED TO PROBATION IN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CASE

Zachery Ty Bryan avoided jail time and instead was sentenced to probation for attacking his girlfriend.
Bryan pleaded guilty to two felony counts and was sentenced to 36 months’ probation after the domestic violence incident, according to PEOPLE.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, his girlfriend told the police that Bryan woke her up, pulled her out of bed by her hair and started beating her. He shouted obscenities about missing cell phone chargers.

His girlfriend said Bryan was physically abusive towards her during the month of the attack, according to TMZ.
She also claimed he choked her to the point that she thought she might suffocate, and put his knee onto the back of her neck, TMZ stated.
When police arrived, the officer said he noticed the victim was bloody and bruised, according to TMZ. Bryan accused her of trying to take him down because he was breaking up with her.
He pleaded guilty to one count of menacing and one count of fourth-degree assault, KEZI 9 reported. Other charges were dismissed.
Bryan is best known for playing the role of Brad Taylor in the sitcom “Home Improvement,” which aired from 1991 to 1999. He also played Clay in “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.”
