His girlfriend said Bryan was physically abusive towards her during the month of the attack, according to TMZ.

She also claimed he choked her to the point that she thought she might suffocate, and put his knee onto the back of her neck, TMZ stated.

When police arrived, the officer said he noticed the victim was bloody and bruised, according to TMZ. Bryan accused her of trying to take him down because he was breaking up with her.

He pleaded guilty to one count of menacing and one count of fourth-degree assault, KEZI 9 reported. Other charges were dismissed.

Bryan is best known for playing the role of Brad Taylor in the sitcom “Home Improvement,” which aired from 1991 to 1999. He also played Clay in “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.”
