Houston man allegedly stabbed his wife to death, tried to kill self, police say

A man in Houston was charged after he allegedly stabbed his wife to death, according to police.
Carlos Guzman, 52, has been charged in connection to the murder of his wife Noelia Guzman, 50, who was pronounced dead at their home.
Guzman allegedly stabbed Noelia multiple times, then cut himself in an apparent attempt to take his own life, according to Houston police.
Two children were home at the time of the stabbing, according to ABC 13. The children were 10 and 17 years old.
Officers arrived at the scene and used a taser to take Guzman into custody. Guzman had a knife in his hand when police arrived at the home, according to ABC 13.
Guzman was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he is expected to survive his self-inflicted wounds.
