Victim Found Shot To Death In Car Parked His Driveway, Suspect Arrested

A man was shot to death inside a car park in the driveway of his home and now a 28-year-old suspect faces a murder charge.

This week, Houston police announced the arrest of Carlos Albert Garcia-Velasquez. He was charged with murder in connection to the incident.

Around 6 p.m. on May 14, Houston police responded to a home and found a man inside his vehicle parked in the driveway. The victim had multiple gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name of the victim has not been released.

Garcia-Velasquez was at the scene and detained by police. He was arrested and charged in connection to the shooting.

But police have not said how Garcia-Velasquez knew the victim or detailed a possible motive in the case.
