Man accused of killing his stepfather, setting house fire in Houston, cops say

A already in jail on murder charges is now being accused of allegedly shooting his stepfather to death as well, police said.
Donald Lenor, 21, has been charged with murder for the shooting of his stepfather, Reginald Lewis, 54, according to Click 2 Houston.
Lewis’ body was found after the house fire was extinguished at a home in the 7600 block of Pointer Street in Houston around 10 a.m. on Aug. 16, according to Click 2 Houston.
Police said they discovered Lewis suffered a gunshot wound to the head prior to the house being set on fire, Click 2 Houston reported.
Lenor was later identified as a suspect in the shooting and allegedly confessed to his role in the death of Lewis, according to Click 2 Houston.
Lenor was out on five felony bonds at the time of the murder, Click 2 Houston reported.
He has remained in jail since his arrest on a murder charge on Sept. 12 in connection to the fatal shooting of another man in the 7000 block of South Hall Street, according to Click 2 Houston.
