Man Allegedly Shot His Twin Brother To Death In Howard Johnson Parking Lot, Officials Say
A man accused of shooting his twin brother to death outside a hotel in Oregon is now in custody, authorities said.
On the evening of Sept. 27, Martre Tirik Oliver, 26, was arrested in Renton, Washington, in connection with the murder of his sibling, Martese Oliver, The Oregonian reported.
According to police, shortly before 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 25, Martre Oliver allegedly shot his brother in the parking lot of a Howard Johnson in Portland.

Martese Oliver was pronounced dead at the scene.
“I was asleep,” a neighborhood resident told KPTV. “I heard a couple gunshots and then I heard a car zoom off.”
Martre Oliver faces charges of second-degree murder, and unlawful use of a firearm. He was expected to be extradited from King County, Washington, to Multnomah County, Oregon.
Officials have not disclosed a possible motive for the crime.
