Jesse Leigh was armed with a handgun when he was arrested, but police are still determining if it was the firearm he used to kill Hunt and Jennifer Leigh, the Idaho State Journal reported.

Police said they found out about the double homicide after a neighbor called 911 to report hearing gunshots coming from the Leighs’ residence on Oct. 15, according to the Idaho State Journal.
