Woman Shot Dead At Idaho Home, Murder Suspect Arrested The Next Day
A man in Idaho is accused of gunning down a 20-year-old woman and now faces a murder charge, police said.
Around 7 a.m. on May 22, police in Nampa, Idaho, responded to a 911 call about a shooting at a home.
When officers arrived, they found the woman with a gunshot wound. The victim was later identified as Julie Isabel Martinez, 20, according to Nampa police.

Martinez was taken to the hospital, where she died from his injuries.
Police identified “Junior Gamboa,” aka Alfonzo Emmanuel Leon, 23, as the shooter and he left before police arrived. He was arrested on May 23 in connection to the case.
Now, Leon faces a murder charge and is being held in the Ada County jail.
Investigators have not released a motive in the case.
