Woman Faces Murder Charge After Deadly Stabbing, But Idaho Authorities Have Not Released A Motive

A woman in Idaho stabbed a man to death, but police have not said why, according to authorities.
This week, officers in Blackfoot, Idaho, arrested 35-year-old Melissa K. Perkes in connection to the case. She was charged with second-degree murder and booked into jail.
Around 11:45 p.m. on Nov. 8, police responded to a disturbance on North Broadway Street, according to police.
A 911 caller stated they thought a person might be injured.
Officers arrived and found Jace D. Williams, 37, with stab wounds, according to police. He was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Investigators identified Perkes as the suspect, and she was arrested hours later.
Authorities have not released a motive in the alleged killing or said if the suspect knew Williams.
