A 2-month-old died from a traumatic brain injury and now a teen faces murder charges, officials said.
Last week, police in Moline, Illinois, announced the arrest of Bryson A. Hall, 19.
On May 24, Moline police responded to a hospital for an unresponsive, 2-month-old infant. The child was taken to the hospital by her parents.
The baby suffered a traumatic brain injury and died on June 14, police said.
Officers identified Hall as a suspect and a warrant was issued on June 23. He turned himself in to police on June 28.
Authorities did not disclose how the baby suffered the injuries or the victim’s relationship to Hall.
The teen now faces charges of first-degree murder, aggravated battery and aggravated domestic battery. He is being held in jail on $500,000 bond.
