An argument between an Indiana grandfather and grandson led to the elder's death and the grandson arrested for murder, police say.
Around 2:45 a.m. Sept. 5, Indiana State Police said an officer from the Daleville police department responded to a call regarding an unconscious person.
Once at the scene, the officer found 26-year-old Trent Kreegar performing CPR on the unconscious man, authorities said.
Officials said the officer also tried life-saving measures on the male victim until paramedics arrived.
However, the life-saving efforts were not successful, as the victim, 67-year-old Robert Earl Huffman Jr., was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

An investigation showed an argument took place between Kreegar and his grandfather, Huffman Jr., late in the evening on Sept. 4, authorities said.
Sometime during that argument, it turned violent and Huffman sustained a fatal injury, police said.
An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death, as detectives have not released any information regarding a possible motive at this time, officials said.
Kreegar was arrested and taken to the Delaware County Justice Center, where he was charged with murder, police said.
The investigation remains ongoing, authorities said.
