Man Shot Dead At Indiana Mobile Home Park, Suspect Spotted Getting Into Car Nearby
A victim was shot dead in a mobile home and now police said they arrested a suspect, according to reports.
Around 3 p.m. on July 27, deputies with the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office in Indiana responded to a mobile home park on Maggie Valley Road.
A caller said a suspect went into a home and shot another man, according to the sheriff’s office. The caller said the suspect left the home on foot.
The witness tried to provide CPR, but when police arrived, the victim was declared dead, according to the sheriff’s office. The name of the victim has not been released.
A deputy saw a man who matched the suspect’s description getting into a vehicle not far from the scene, the sheriff’s office noted. The vehicle was stopped and was driven by a woman.
Police said the woman was asked by the suspect for a ride and did not know what happened.
The suspect was arrested and identified as Ricky Kiper, 34, according to WIKY.
No motive has been released in the case.
