A victim was dropped off at the hospital with a gunshot wound and later died. Now, a suspect faces a murder charge.
Around 1:30 a.m. on Feb. 23, police in Kokomo, Indiana, responded to a hospital after a person dropped off the victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was identified as 25-year-old Izjohn S. Trice.
When police arrived at the hospital, Trice had been pronounced dead, according to Kokomo police.
On March 15, a warrant was issued for Johnathan L. Capers, 32, for murder.
Investigators did not say if the suspect knew the victim or released a possible motive for the shooting.
Capers was being held in Howard County jail for an unrelated case, and on March 16 was charged with murder, police said.
