63-year-old woman accused of murder in domestic-related homicide, police say
A 63-year-old woman allegedly shot and killed a man in what police described as a domestic-related homicide.
On Feb. 15, police in St. Joseph County, Indiana, responded to a home in Clay Township for a welfare check. When officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds.
The victim, identified as Geoff Delusignan, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to St. Joseph County police.
Detectives identified the suspect as Rebecca Powell, 63, and she was arrested this week.
Both Delusignan, 66, and Powell lived at the home, but investigators did not detail what led to the shooting.
Powell was charged with murder and booked into jail.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
