Man Allegedly Pushed His Mother Down And Fractured Her Skull. When She Died, Police Charged Him With Murder

A man in Indiana caused his mom to fracture her skull and now faces a murder charge after her death, according to a report.
This month, Kevin Stevenson was arrested on a murder charge. He is being held in Vigo County jail.
Stevenson got into an argument with his mother, Etta Stevenson, on Aug. 19 when he shoved her down and fractured her head, according to WTWO.
She was taken to the hospital before the police arrived. She told deputies that Kevin had pushed her down. Her husband told police that Kevin had pushed his mother down, according to the report.

Kevin was heavily intoxicated when speaking to officers and said his mother hit him, but he refused to provide further details, according to WTWO. He was then arrested and taken to jail.
About a week after the incident, the victim was taken to hospice care. She died a few days later, police said.
Her death was ruled a homicide caused by a skull fracture.
