Couple Charged With Murder of Influencer Who Died Undergoing Beauty Treatment at Their Clinic: Prosecutors
A Chinese couple is accused of murder after a popular influencer died while at their beauty clinic for a treatment.
The BBC reported 33-year-old BJ Ahyeong, a South Korean Instagram star whose real name is Byun Ah-yeong, was found dead outside Phnom Penh in Cambodia. The body was wrapped in a red cloth.

Lai Wenshao and Cai Huijuan claimed Ahyeong suffered seizures while at their clinic, but prosecutors alleged to the news agency AFP that her death was the result of “murder accompanied by torture.”
According to the BBC, Ahyeong grew a following on Instagram as a broadcast jockey for the video streaming service AfreecaTV, but she recently announced she was leaving in order to live her life “as a normal person.”
