A Louisiana woman has been arrested after police say she allegedly shot a man in a parking garage after meeting him on social media.
According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, Latoria Matthews, 23, met the 24-year-old victim, whose identity was not released, on Instagram.
On April 7, Matthews reportedly picked up the victim and drove him to a parking garage, where they planned to have sex.
Matthews, however, instead shot him numerous times, causing injuries that were not life-threatening, according to police.
The man was able to safely escape from the vehicle and seek help, authorities said.
Police said Matthews fled the scene before officers arrived.
