Fight In Iowa Ends With One Man Dead And His Brother Accused Of Murder

In Iowa, a man is accused of stabbing his brother to death and now faces a murder charge, police said.
Around 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 13, the Ida County 911 center received a call about a fight in progress in Galva, Iowa.
When deputies arrived, they found Eduardo Diaz III, 26, lying on the sidewalk. He was pronounced dead at the scene from stab wounds, according to the sheriff’s office.
The victim’s brother, Jesus Isai Diaz, 24, was also at the scene and wounded. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to the sheriff’s office. However, he was also identified as his brother’s killer.
Jesus Diaz was then arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
A motive has not been released in the case.
