Man handling gun pulls trigger and kills teen, Florida cops say. Now, he faces a manslaughter charge.
A man is accused of handling a gun and shooting a teen to death, police said.
On March 12, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office in Florida responded to 103rd Street for a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they found a 15-year-old with a gunshot wound.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
Authorities have not released the teen’s name.
Police investigated and determined a suspect was handling a gun when he pointed it at the victim and pulled the trigger, according to the sheriff’s office. The bullet then hit the teen.
Amin Sullivan, 25, was identified as the suspect and he was charged with manslaughter.
