Haunting History: Colorado Home Where JonBenét Ramsey Murdered Off Market After Sixth Failed Sales Attempt
The infamous Colorado residence where the tragic death of 6-year-old beauty queen JonBenét Ramsey occurred in nearly 20 years ago has once again failed to attract a buyer after it was on the market for over a year.
Located at 749 15th St. in Boulder, the property was listed for sale on March 1, 2023, with an initial asking price of $6.95 million.
Despite a price reduction of $701,000 to $6.24 million seven months later, the house remained unsold.
Now, one year after its initial listing, the home, the recent subject of a viral TikTok video, again has been removed from the market.
This marks the sixth attempt to sell the property, which has been extensively renovated.
Whoever murdered JonBenét Ramsey remains an unsolved cold case. The 6-year-old beauty queen was found dead in the basement of her family's home on Dec. 26, 1996. The child had been bound and strangled.
JonBenét's mother, Patsy, made a frantic 911 call and reported her daughter missing after finding a lengthy ransom note. However, it was JonBenét's father, John, who discovered her lifeless body in a seldom-used room of the basement.

Following the murder, the Ramsey family vacated the property. It was later sold to an investor group for $650,000, with proceeds pledged to the JonBenét Ramsey Children’s Foundation.
The listing for the property was listed with LIV Sotheby’s International Real Estate.
