Man killed, woman critically injured in Kentucky double shooting: cops

A man was killed and a woman was critically injured in a double shooting in Kentucky, police said.
Around 11 a.m. Sept. 12, police were dispatched to the 3100 block of Rosina Avenue in Covington, Kentucky, on reports of a shooting.
Michael Bishop, 29, was found shot in the chest several times and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Alicia Haywood, 33, was shot in the leg and transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Haywood is currently in critical condition but is expected to survive her injuries, authorities say.
A short time later, police were able to identify a suspect, Keyshawn McCoy, 18. Authorities have not said how McCoy knew the victims or how investigators connected him to the homicide.
McCoy was transported to Covington Police Headquarters, and was later sent to Kenton County Detention Center.
McCoy is charged with first-degree murder and assault.
