Months After A Victim Was Found Shot Dead In A Kentucky Apartment, Police Say They Nabbed The Suspect

Months after a man was found dead in a Kentucky apartment, police say they arrested the suspected killer.
Around 2:45 a.m. on Nov. 5, police in Lexington, Kentucky, responded to West Main Street for a report of shots fired. Officer searched the area and did not find anything out of the ordinary.
Minutes later, a man arrived at a hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, police said. It was determined the person was shot on West Main Street.
Officers went back to the area, and this time they found a man dead from a gunshot in an apartment, according to police. The victim was identified as Jesse Jimenez.
On June 21, police announced the arrest of Robert Okorley, 40, in connection to the case. Though, police have not released a motive in the shooting.
Okorley now faces charges of murder, second-degree assault, attempted murder, first-degree criminal mischief and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
