Putin's Paternity Pursuit: Kremlin Hunting for Reporter Who Exposed Russian Leader’s Alleged Secret Love Child
An arrest warrant has been issued in Russia for investigative journalist Andrei Zakharov, who alleged that Vladimir Putin had a love child with a secret mistress.
Zakharov, previously labeled a "foreign agent" by the Kremlin, was recently placed on the wanted list by Russia's interior ministry, the Mirror reported.
Four years ago, Zakharov disclosed that Putin had a love child with Svetlana Krivonogikh. A former cleaner turned multimillionaire. Krivonogikh, now 49, partly owns a major bank and a St. Petersburg strip club.
The exact reason for Zakharov's addition to the wanted list is unclear, but he speculated on his Telegram channel that it was likely due to non-compliance with "foreign agent" regulations.
Zakharov, 40, currently resides abroad under, he claims, intense surveillance by Russian security services.
Putin's unacknowledged alleged daughter, Luiza, now 21, bears a strong resemblance to the Russian leader. Raised in St. Petersburg, Luiza has been seen in Paris, including at the Louvre in 2021.
She and her mother own a lavish multi-million-dollar home in Monaco, part of Krivonogikh’s estimated $100 million fortune.
After being identified as Putin's daughter, Luiza was active on social media in Russia, hosting a fashion show in St. Petersburg and working as a DJ in Moscow. However, she disappeared from public view shortly before Putin's war against Ukraine. She is believed to be hiding in the West, remaining unseen.

Last year, Zakharov said, “As far as I know, she is in Paris now. She is studying in some fashion school there…but she is in Paris, yes, I mean a fashion designer there. As far as I know, something happened in October 2021 because she deleted her Instagram account and she is no [longer] public. It looks like somebody told her to ‘stop it.’”
Putin is also believed to have two other secret children with Alina Kabaeva, a 40-year-old Olympic gold medal-winning rhythmic gymnast. These children were born in 2015 and 2019 and are reportedly raised in various palaces guarded by the FSO security service near Moscow, on the Black Sea, and in northern Russia.

Putin’s two other known adult daughters, Maria Vorontsova and Katerina Tikhonova, are believed to be banned from traveling to the West during the ongoing war. Luiza was born during Putin's marriage to Lyudmila, now 66, who served as Russia's first lady before their divorce.
Vorontsova, 39, is a geneticist and expert on dwarfism, working as a leading researcher at the National Medical Research Centre for Endocrinology of the Ministry of Health of Russia. Tikhonova, 37, a former 'rock'n'roll' dancer turned mathematician, is the director-general of the National Intellectual Development Foundation in Russia. She also plays a key role in a high-powered group overseeing import substitution to evade Western sanctions and is believed to have political ambitions.
Both daughters, along with many of Putin's associates and family members, including his ex-wife Lyudmila, are sanctioned by the West.
