She Was Involved In A Large Fight. Then It Got Deadly When She Hit Two People With A Car, Police Say.

A Texas woman is behind bars facing a murder charge after San Antonio police say she hit two women who were involved in a large fight with vehicle.
Police took Pennie Gomez, 36, was arrested on Jan. 12 and charged wtih murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit, a little before 8:30 p.m. police were called to an incident on Angela Walk and South Picoso Street.
On scene, police found a woman who was struck by a vehicle. She died at the scene from her injuries. The woman's name is Ashley Lopez, 28, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office.
A second woman was struck by the vehicle as well, but she survived.
The original incident was a large fight between 15 to 30 people, according to police. The situation got worse when Gomez allegedly got inside her vehicle and struck the women, according to KSAT.
