Vegas murder suspect and his girlfriend dropped shooting victim off at hospital, fled to LA: Police
A suspected murderer who allegedly fatally shot a man in Las Vegas and then dropped the victim off at a local hospital before fleeing to Los Angeles is under arrest, police said.
On June 18, 2020, around 2:45 p.m., a paramedic in an ambulance reported driving by and witnessing a man firing a gun into the passenger side of an SUV outside the Siegel Suites, KLAS-TV reported.
Ten minutes later, Avondre Kelly, 24, and his girlfriend, Ashley Fuller, who was allegedly driving a Kia Sportage, dropped off the shooting victim, Dariane Lincoln-Marshall, 26, at Valley Hospital and left without identifying themselves, according to police.
Lincoln-Marshall died from his injuries.
Authorities located the Kia Sportage after it was abandoned in Los Angeles.
“It appeared as though attempts were made to clean up the blood evidence,” an arrest warrant for Kelly states. “The rear passenger seat was chemically processed and revealed that there were attempts made to clean up the blood and revealed bleach was used on the blood-stained areas.”
Police believe Kelly and Fuller may have planned to torch the vehicle based on traces of gasoline found underneath a floorboard.
Kelly and Fuller were taken into custody in California on Aug. 10, 2020, and Fuller was extradited to Nevada this month. He is charged with open murder and discharging a gun into an occupied structure or vehicle.
The suspect’s girlfriend, Fuller, faces a charge of harboring, concealing, or aiding a felony offender.
