Man Shot Dead In Parked Car. Police Arrested The Suspect The Same Day, They Just Didn't Know It.

Months after a man was found shot dead in a car in Las Vegas, police arrested the suspect.
This week, Las Vegas police arrested 21-year-old Diego Cruz-Gomez in the case.
Around 6 p.m. on Oct. 20, Las Vegas police responded to a man shot in a parked vehicle near Christy Lane.
When police arrived, they found the victim. The man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police have not released the person’s name.
The victim was sitting in a parked car when a Hispanic man walked toward him and started shooting, police said. The suspect fled the area before police arrived.
No motive has been released in the case.
Investigators identified Diego Cruz-Gomez as the suspect in the case. That same day he was arrested on unrelated charges. Now, he has been charged with open murder.
