Las Vegas man allegedly set fire to his girlfriend’s residential trailer, killing her

A man allegedly killed his girlfriend by setting fire to her trailer home in Las Vegas.
Around 4:20 p.m. Nov. 10, the Clark County Fire Department responded to a fire at a residential trailer in the 6200 block of East Sahara Avenue in Las Vegas.
Responding firefighters entered the structure and located the body of Melynda Wlliams as well as three dead dogs, ABC 8 reported.
Homicide detectives learned patrol officers were called to the residence at approximately 7 a.m. for a domestic disturbance.

Officers settled the disturbance after determining it was a civil property dispute. Later in the day, the structure fire was reported and the victim’s body was found.
Police arrested Shyhelee Coleman, 35, in Carson City, Nevada and charged him with one count of first-degree arson, three counts of attempted murder and three counts of willful killing of an animal, according to ABC 8.
Williams was allegedly Coleman’s girlfriend, ABC 8 reported.
Coleman will be brought back to Las Vegas to face charges related to the crime.
