Man Shot Dead While In Car With Passenger After Suspects In Another Vehicle Opened Fire: Cops

A man faces murder charges after being arrested and accused of shooting from one car into another.
On Nov. 29, police in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, announced that officers arrested Demonte Joseph, 19, in connection to the case.
Around 1 p.m. on Nov. 20, Jessie Johnson, 22, and a front-seat passenger were inside a car. Three people inside another truck then fired into the car and killed Johnson, police said.
The other victim was also injured but expected to survive.
Investigators did not say what led to the shooting of if the suspects knew the victims.
Johnson was charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon. Two other suspects remain at large, police said.
