Altercation In Louisiana Leaves 21-Year-Old Dead, Two Other Hurt, Police Said. Suspect Now In Cuffs.

A man in Louisiana has been arrested in connection to the shooting death of a 21-year-old man, police said.
This week, police in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, said officers arrived Kirkpatrick Franklin, 52, in connection to the shooting death of Albert Hawkins.
Franklin tried to flee from police when they tried to stop his vehicle but was apprehended a short distance away, police said.
Franklin was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a charge of second-degree murder, police said.
On July 31, Hawkins was found shot to death at a home on Bradley Street, police said.
He and two other people were shot in an altercation with Franklin at the home, police said. Investigators did not provide further details on what led to the shooting.
The other victims were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot injuries.
