Man Uses Dying Breath To Identify Girlfriend As His Killer, Louisiana Police Say

A man in his dying breath told police his girlfriend shot him, police said. Now, the alleged killer faces a murder charge.
Last week, the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Crystal Ricker, 41, in connection to the death of Brandon Bradley.
Around 3:45 p.m. on May 29, deputies responded to a report of a shooting. The victim was identified as Bradley, according to the sheriff’s office. He was found dead in a small camper.
The victim was shot once in the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators said there was an argument before the shooting but did not detail what it was about.
Witnesses said Bradley told people who tried to give him care before he died that Ricker was the person who shot him, according to the sheriff’s office.
Ricker was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and is being held in jail on $500,000 bond.
