Man And Minor Arrested In Connection To Slaying Of Louisiana Teen After Fleeing State, Police Say

A man and a minor have been arrested in connection to the killing of a teen in Louisiana, authorities said.
Around 2:45 p.m. on Nov. 23, the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana responded to a reported shooting in Violent, Louisiana.
When deputies arrived, they found an 18-year-old with gunshots, according to the sheriff’s office. The name of the victim has not been released. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators identified 21-year-old Cody Adams and a 16-year-old minor as being involved, according to the sheriff’s office. But authorities did not release a motive or say how they tied the suspects to the incident.
The two were arrested in Mississippi in recent days.
They were both charged with second-degree murder and await extradition to Louisiana.
