Ohio Man Left 10-Month-Old Baby Girl Alone in Car While He Hung Out in Casino: Police

An Ohio man has been arrested after he allegedly left his infant daughter in a parking garage while he went inside a nearby casino, according to authorities.
Around 10:30 p.m. on April 27, officers responded to reports of a child left unattended inside a vehicle in the structure in Cleveland, according to documents obtained by WKYC.
Responding officers located a 10-month-old girl alone in the car, officials said.
An initial investigation determined the 27-year-old father had left the child in the vehicle while he went inside the JACK Cleveland Casino, authorities said.
Officials did not reveal how long the child had allegedly been alone in the car before officers arrived at the scene.
The child appeared uninjured, however, she was tended to by EMS and transported to a hospital for a checkup before her release to family.

The father, whose name was not publicly disclosed as the investigation continues, was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment and permitting child abuse, police said.
