Man covered in blood arrested after body found in South Carolina woods, cops say

A man has been arrested in conenction to a murder after he was found covered in blood near the victim's remains, South Carolina police said.
On Aug. 19 around 6:30 a.m., the Saluda County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an unconscious male in Saluda, South Carolina.
Law enforcement found a dead man victim in the woods behind a residence, according to the sheriff's office. The victim suffered blunt trauma to the head and body.
Police located Salvador Perez-Hernandez near the crime scene. Perez-Hernandez was covered in blood and later admitted to the murder while being interviewed by deputies, according to the Saluda County Sheriff’s Office.
Perez-Hernandez is charged with murder and is currently incarcerated at the Saluda County Detention Center. Bond was not set in his case as in South Carolina only a circut court judge can set bond on a murder charge.
