A 64-year-old Maryland man was arrested outside a hospital for impersonating an ATF agent and exposing his genitals while urinating on the sidewalk, according to authorities.
On May 1, Glenn Anthony Atkins was found wearing an FBI hat and a gold-colored badge hanging from his neck outside the Anne Arundel Medical Center, according to The Southern Maryland Chronicle.
When questioned, Atkins claimed he was an ATF agent but was unable to provide any credentials to support his claim, officials said.
Officers talked to witnesses, who said Atkins exposed his genitals while urinating near the roadway, which is what led them to calling the police, The Southern Maryland Chronicle reported.
Suspecting that Atkins was impersonating a law enforcement officer, police arrested him.
He was charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer and indecent exposure and booked into the Anne Arundel County Detention Center.

Security at the hospital had confiscated two firearms from a suspect who had been arrested on May 1, from the same location. The suspect, later identified as Atkins, told security he was there to shoot another member of their security detail, officials said.
No shots were fired and the suspect was arrested and charged accordingly, The Southern Maryland Chronicle reported.
