A Houston woman allegedly ran down a man with her car, backed over him and then got out of the vehicle, kissed him and then stabbed him multiple times, according to authorities.
Surveillance footage obtained by KTRK, allegedly shows Karon Fisher, 20, appeared to use her vehicle to target a man walking to get his mail in Houston.
After allegedly hitting the man, she then reportedly backed over the victim — later identified as 64-year-old Steven Anderson — and continued to back the car out of the video frame, the video appears to show.
When neighbors rushed to offer assistance, Fisher allegedly walked back up the street, flipped the victim over, straddled him, kissed him and then stabbed him nine times, police claimed.
In the video, Fisher appears to be talking with someone in another vehicle on the street before she tries to open the door.
When she failed to get the door open, she walked back towards Anderson’s body, jumped over him and walked down the street out of the video frame.
According to the Houston Police Department, witnesses told investigators where the suspect went, and they were able to detain her at a nearby location.
Fisher was charged with murder, and assaulting a hospital staffer, an incident that occurred on the same day as the murder, officials said.

She was booked into the Harris County Jail and was being held on a $2 million bond.
Authorities said Fisher was listed as a male in jail records, but police referred to Fisher as a female. Fisher was on supervision for evading arrest last year and was charged with prostitution in 2021, but the charges were dropped, according to reports.
