An argument between acquaintances left one dead and another facing a murder charge, police said.
Last week, Maryland State Police announced the arrest of Boris Wade Connor, 18. He was charged with first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault and other gun-related charges.
After his arrest, Connor was booked into a Maryland jail.
Around 12:20 p.m. on Oct. 15, police responded to a reported shooting in Newark, Maryland, according to Maryland State Police.
When police arrived, they found Kamron Michael Lewis, 34, dead from a gunshot wound.
Investigators said Connor and Lewis knew each other and were in an argument. Connor then pulled out a gun and shot Lewis.
There were no details on what led to the argument.
