A woman is being accused of stabbing her roommate to death at a restaurant in Maryland after confronting him over $10 moments earlier, according to authorities.

On July 8, police said 62-year-old Mervyn Daniel was attacked while working at a restaurant in Seat Pleasant, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.

Authorities said 21-year-old Rayika Poston and 37-year-old Jesse Culley, who both lived with Daniel, got into an argument with him at the restaurant and Daniel’s coworkers stepped in and separated them.

Poston and Culley left the restaurant, but police said they returned minutes later.

Poston then confronted Daniel regarding $10 she claimed went missing and yelled, “I will kill everybody in this store,” police said, WRC-TV reported.

Police claimed Poston then grabbed a bread knife and allegedly stabbed Daniel and Culley then helped Poston escape through the back door of the restaurant.

Police arrived at the restaurant and found Daniel unresponsive in the bathroom. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Culley was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact, officials said. He is in custody of the Department of Corrections.
