Man Found Shot Dead, Two People Arrested Including Suspect With Guns And High Capacity Ammunition Feeder

Two people have been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting in Massachusetts.

This week, the Hampden County District Attorney’s Office announced the arrests in connection to a May 30 shooting.

Around 5 p.m., police in Chicopee, Massachusetts, responded to a home for a report of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was identified as Luis Lebron Alvelo, 23, prosecutors said.

Investigators identified two suspects and, on June 8, arrested Thania Rosadao, 31, on a charge of murder.

Police continued to work the case and, on June 10, arrested Jose Amaro, 38. During a search of his home police found drugs, guns and ammunition with high-capacity feeding devices, prosecutors said.

He, too, was charged with murder and both suspects are being held in jail.
