A Tennessee woman has been arrested after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death during an argument over chores, according to authorities.
Around 1 a.m. on July 12, officers responded to a disturbance call in Frayser, according to WREG.
Once police arrived at the scene, they found the victim, whose name has not been released, suffering from a stab wound in his chest. Officers found a large knife on the ground nearby, WREG reported.
First responders tried to render aid to the victim, but he was pronounced dead shortly after, officials said.
Investigators spoke with the victim’s girlfriend, Jeosha Jones. She said her and the victim got into a fight over chores, and she picked up a large flat-screen TV and shoved it at him, WREG reported.
At that point, the victim reportedly fell against the refrigerator, which caused a bottle and a large knife to fall to the ground, police said.

The victim allegedly picked up the knife and Jones tried to take it from him, authorities said. The duo struggled over the knife until the victim was stabbed in the upper right chest, according to WREG.
Police said Jones then released the knife, and the victim fell to the ground. Jones’ 10-year-old child then called 911, officials said.
Jones was arrested and has been charged with second-degree murder.
