Talk about an unhappy meal: Memphis police seek suspect who opened fire at drive-thru
Not having it her way.
Police in Memphis, Tennessee, are looking for a suspect who opened fire in a fast-food drive-thru window last week.
On March 30, police responded to a shooting at the Winchester Road Burger King. When officers arrived, witnesses said a woman got mad over the wait time at the drive-thru window.
The woman got out of a four-door sedan and went to the drive-thru window, according to police. An argument started between the customer and the workers.
The woman then took out a black handgun, put her upper body through the window and fired several shots, police say.
The workers fled the shooting through the back door of the business and were not hurt, according to police. The woman, and a man who was driving the car, fled the scene.
Police have yet to make an arrest in the case.
The investigation continues and police ask anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers at (901) 528-CASH. If an arrest is made, tipsters could receive up to $1,000.
