A woman drove through a crime scene with an open tequila bottle and three packs of THC gummies in her car, police said.
Around 6 p.m. on Feb. 20, officers were on the scene of a three-vehicle crash in Memphis, Tennessee, ABC 24 reported.
After blocking off all southbound traffic and taping off a crash scene, officers saw a maroon Audi Q5 drive through the barricaded area and breaking the caution tape, according to ABC 24.
Officers approached the car, asking the driver, Taylor Hardy, to exit the vehicle, ABC 24 reported.
Hardy allegedly refused, which prompted officers to remove her from the vehicle, according to ABC 24.
Officers said they smelled alcohol on Hardy’s breath, and they reported that she was not able to walk and stumbled, ABC 24 reported.
An arrest affidavit obtained by ABC 24 stated that Hardy was “combative,” making several threats to the officers on the scene, according to ABC 24.
Hardy was then detained in the back of the police car while the officers searched her vehicle, ABC 24 reported.
Officers found an open bottle of tequila and three packs of THC gummy candies in Hardy’s backseat, according to ABC 24.
Hardy was taken into custody for DUI, and she was taken to Austin Peay Police Station, ABC 24 reported.
