Months after a man was gunned down at a Michigan shoe store, police say they have arrested a suspect in the case.
Around 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 23, the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting at the Snipes shoe store in Delta Township, Michigan. When officers arrived, they found a victim with a gunshot wound.
Deputies tried life-saving measures, but the victim died, according to the sheriff’s office.
The victim was identified as Antonio Taylor, 22.
Investigators said the shooting did not appear random but did not disclose what led to the shooting.
On April 7, officials announced they arrested Willie James III in connection to the case. He was charged with open murder and is being held without bond. Police did not say how they identified James as a suspect.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact police at (517) 816-8199.
