Michigan woman on the run arrested in connection to a quadruple homicide, police say
A woman considered armed and dangerous and wanted in connection to the murders of four people in central Michigan has been apprehended, authorities said.
On Oct. 21, Judy Marie Boyer, 54, was taken into custody on Oct. 21 and was being held in the Clare County Jail awaiting charges, but authorities have not released where she was captured.
The day before her arrest, around 4 p.m. Oct. 20, officers responding to reports of a shooting at a Clare County property discovered to men wounded. The victims, ages 36 and 39, later died from their injuries, the Mount Pleasant Morning Sun reported.
According to the news outlet, Boyd fled the crime scene, where officers also located the bodies of two more victims, a 61-year-old woman and an 85-year-old man.
Law enforcement officials have not disclosed a possible motive for the homicides.
